How to Recognize Breathing problems in Pets

The most common causes of breathing problems in plants are:

  • lung infections such as pneumonia, which may be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
  • Heart disease/congestive heart failure.
  • Upper airway distress.
  • Trauma (i, e., hit by a car)
  • Electrical Shock
  • Inhaled objects or vomit
  • Cancer
Please recognize the signs and symptoms of breathing problems so that you can provide emergency rescue breathing.

Some of the signs and symptoms are:

  • Abdomen moves when breathing
  • Coughing
  • Head and Neck extended forward, elbows pushed out
  • Increased breathing rate and effort.
  • Loud, noisy breathing.
  • Pale or blue gums (mucous membranes)
